How can I access current road conditions?
Road conditions can be accessed using two methods:
1. Phone: 511 is a 24-hour automated road condition information line that can be accessed by dialing 511 on any Utah-based phone. Outside Utah, you can access the same information by dialing toll-free 866-511-UTAH (8824).
2. Online: Road conditions are available at www.CommuterLink.utah.gov.

Where can I find traffic statistics?
Monthly traffic bulletins, annual traffic volume maps and other statistics are collected by our systems planning and programming division. Visit the Traffic Statistics Web page for more information.

What roadwork is planned in my area?
Preliminary project information, along with current construction and studies can be found under the "Projects and Studies" tab on the top of the page. The public involvement page provides information about public meetings and contact information.

Where do I find bus, TRAX and FrontRunner information?
The Utah Transit Authority provides public transit along the Wasatch Front. You can visit their website at www.rideuta.com or call them at RIDE UTA (743-3882) or toll-free 866-RIDE UTA (866-743-3882) to find information about schedules, fares and maps.  Information about other public transit agencies can be found on our Public Transit Web page.

 

How do I renew or find information about my driver license?
The Driver License Division is part of the Utah Department of Public Safety. They may be reached at 801-965-4437 or toll-free at 800-222-0038. Please visit their Web site at www.driverlicense.utah.gov for further information.

Where do I find information about vehicle title and registration requirements?
Vehicle registration is handled by the Department of Motor Vehicles under the Utah State Tax Commission. You may reach that office by phone at 801-297-7780 or 800-DMV-UTAH. Please visit their Web site at www.dmv.utah.gov.

Where can I find out about UDOT bids and contracting opportunities?
The information can be found within our "Project Development" Web page. The Bid Letting page lists current project advertisements, past bid results and abstracts, and resources for becoming a pre-qualified contractor to bid on UDOT projects.

How do I report a problem with a road?
Individual road concerns are addressed at the four region offices across the state. Please call the phone number of your area listed below to report any problems.
